On Saturday, December 18, 2010, Nutley Lodge No. 25 saw its 158th Annual Installation of Officers. The open installation was attended by approximately 100 brother masons and their guests. The evening started off with a sumptuous feast followed by the ceremony. The installing team consisted of R.W. George H. Heflich, Jr. (Installing Master), R.W. Carl Steinmetz (Marshal), R.W. Jack Darakjy (Ancient Charges), and W.B. Anthony Santiago (Chaplain). After the officers were proclaimed installed in their stations and places by the Marshal, and the assembly addressed the newly installed Worshipful Master, Jose E. Villalta, the NJ DeMolay presented the 'Flower Talk'. This moving tribute to mothers everywhere truly touched the hearts of many of the attendees. Not a dry eye was observed in the lodge. A holiday party followed the installation ceremony. Good fun and fellowship was had by all.
